![]() So GM took Subaru made WRX and Impreza wagons and branded them the 9-2. I'm not sure if this is all still true but Subaru's parent company was Fuji Heavy Industries which GM had some kind of stake in and GM had some kind of stake or ownership in Saab. ![]() So are they Walthers or S&W's? Car companies do this stuff too. They were actually Walther made but have S&W branding on them. Then you have a situation where I think Walther made some guns for S&W. ![]() I think there were Egyptian versions of Beretta 1951's but they aren't Berettas. Taurus PT-92's look a lot like Berettas and people consider them copies or clones but don't call them Beretta. I guess there winds up being shades of gray maybe? All the different companies that make 1911 with parts that could interchange, I wouldn't call them Colts. Lots of companies borrow each other's designs or outright manufacture guns for other companies who put their names on it. Without trying to upset anyone that considers it a Colt, I still wouldn't.
